My expectations towards Europe - Mes attentes envers l'Europe - Meine Erwartungen an Europa

English

I believe in the European idea, although I am not satisfied with the current implementation.
I want a Europe reaching from the Sahara to Spitsbergen and from the Azores to Kamchatka.
Furthermore, a Europe that is not, like in it's current condition, only a business community, but also to the community of values,
a Europe that starts accession negotiations with Tunisia and Lebanon, a Europe that is open to a partnership with Russia realizing that Russia has always been, currently is and will always be a part of the continent, without being influenced of outdated, outmoded military alliances having a counterproductive effect on the realization of the European idea and catching it forever in a bipolar world order.
Moreover, a Europe showing zero tolerance to nationalists like Orbán.
Above all, a Europe realizing that it can only be perceived as a community of values, when it admits itself to the reconciliation and human rights policy of the BDP / HDP in the framework of the accession negotiations with Turkey, instead of currying favor with more powerful parties and their 19th century fashioned nationalism and ethnocentrism for economic and power-political motives.

Jahrhundert anzubiedern.
